A missional ministry for all parties affected by a crime to collectively seek ways to recover from the resulting trauma. Restorative Justice reflects biblical concepts and solutions rather than retributive models of justice.

Cookie baking for Kairos is a way those in the free world can minister twice yearly to the incarcerated in TDC Darrington Unit while remaining outside the prison. The cookie bakers at CUMC like to think of the cookies we bake as the ‘bait' we send with our "fishermen" into Darrington prison to draw men to the Kairos weekend event to experience the love of Christ. An organization dedicated to a reentry program for homeless, veterans and ex-offenders, providing housing and educational direction. The key elements of mind, body, and spirit combine to form the center of this program. Answering the call to opportunities that provide prayers, presence, gifts and service to those in need. Projects have included the renovation of the Darrington Chapel, sponsorship of Christ-centered family videos for those incarcerated and attending Prayer and Share every Saturday at the Darrington Unit.
