The Angel House was begun in 1996 by several members of Cypress United Methodist Church. They had just completed installing a new stained glass window for the church and decided to make and sell small stained glass angels as a fundraiser. The breadth of items for sale has grown since then to include the sale of sun catchers, garden stones, coasters, light boxes, crosses, and other items. They also do small special orders.

The Angel House, a stained glass ministry located behind Cypress United Methodist Church, is celebrating its 15th year of operation and philanthropy. The Angel House is different from other places because it is operated completely by volunteers, and all of the proceeds go to help the missions of the church and community outreach, such as the Houston Area Suicide Prevention Coalition, the American Cancer Society, and Care Net Pregnancy Centers.
